Ydan Sarciat

    Born on 7th August 1957 in Rabat (Morocco), he arrived in the French Antilles at the age of three.  In 1980, returning to the Landes region of his family origins, he taught for four years in Dax, South West France.  In 1984, Ydan devoted himself entirely to his painting.  Self-taught, he uses traditional tools, paintbrush, palette knife, charcoal.  He experiments with new techniques, his most recent discovery being the computer, adding the graphic pen to his set of tools.Ydan Sarciat “Peintre du Mouvement”  is not only committed to traditional cultures, he is also interested in sport, Exhibition: the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games, F1 Grand Prix, Magny-cours, pelota, bullfighting, Course Landaise , rugby, etc.He creates trophies, frescos, logos, events posters, and decorates public places with his aluminium sculptures and, more recently, monumental sculptures which decorate roundabouts in South West France.In 2004, the artist Ydan Sarciat discovered DigigraphieŽ, a new means of expression for the distribution of his works of art, which allows him to completely express his creativity by using the computer.  1.
