Claudio Colombo

Da quindici anni opero sul nostro territorio per quanto riguarda la fotografia in tutte le sue sfumature.
Fino alla fine del 2012 ho avuto una sala di posa personale nella quale ho realizzato lavori di Still-life e adv in genere. Negli ultimi anni mi sono avvicinato sempre più alla ritrattistica al fine di semplificare al massimo la “mia” fotografia, senza per forza legarmi all'utilizzo di lampeggiatori flash.

Contemporaneamente, da anni porto avanti un lavoro fotografico e video destinato al turismo, prima in Maldive, Seychelles e Cuba, oggi Oman e Srilanka. L’ultimo progetto in collaborazione con Sporting Vacanze, Turkish Airlines, Alitalia ed Ethiad. Ho realizzato servizi per Stylist e Agenzie in Spagna e Albania.
In Italia collaboro con altre agenzie e nell’ultimo periodo ho ampliato la mia fotografia alle notizie di approfondimento pubblicando articoli con l’agenzia Kika Press.

L’utilizzo del video, con un approccio prettamente fotografico, mi ha portato a dirigere la tipologia di lavori che ad svolgo verso il campo della videoritrattistica, video emozionali, pubblicitari e per eventi.

Photographer, video maker, journalist and documentary writer, Colombo Claudio is a Genoese artist with a deep connection to the sea. 
Diver and instructor of underwater photography and video, he is a member of the Fipsas-Cmas team and for years has been combining his passion for visual art with the underwater world, working for tourism and prestigious nautical magazines.
Colombo teaches photography at the International School of Comics and the Backstage Makeup Academy,Conveying to students its unique approach and the constant search for a visual language capable of exciting and communicating with those who observe.
His art is characterized by the fusion between photography and videomaking, a combination that allows him to create movement even in static images, giving his works a a particular dynamism and depth.
For many years he has worked in the Maldives, where he captured landscapes and inhabitants, but his experience ranges from numerous places in the world. 
Born as a commercial photographer, he is known for the quality of his portraits and his ability to make emotional videos. Although he is a "terrestrial" photographer, he finds in underwater photography elegance and dynamism that further enrich his work.
Always committed to capturing images that speak to the soul of the observer, Colombo Claudio continues to explore new artistic paths, driven by the passion for the sea and the desire to tell about its infinite beauty.
